Summary
My extensive experience in oil and gas industry has started in OCT 2006, at the beginning as Field / Process Operator and now as Panel Operator; I mainly control, monitor, start up, shut down and keep the steady state to avoid any upsets of the plants from Central Control Room (CCR) with a high safety culture level in following up and implementation of company HSE rules and regulations and proper follow up of procedures.

- Control, monitor from control room using EMERSON DELTA V DCS interface and maintain the steady state of units.
- Start up and shutdown of the assigned units: oil storage, crude oil separator, VRU unit, water treatment unit, N2 unit, air compressor unite (Atlas copco) and gas compression unit.
- Ensure a steady state of the assigned units.
- Collect the field data, routine samples and deliver to laboratory.
- Ensure a safe handover and takeover of the equipment according to the company safety work management.
- Participate in safety walk down, emergency drills and follow up the procedures implemented by the company work management.
- Coordinate with control room, shift supervisor for further follow up of activities.
- Update the daily report and ensure a safe progress of the activities (operation and maintenance).
- Attend the safety meeting, safety tool box.
- Sign the e-PTW and make sure the proper package is available before and after work commencement.
- Apply safely the LOTO, TAGOUT and the check lists.
- Participate in the national trainees’ development training program in order to take them to the next level.

- Maintain Crude oil characteristics including (RVP, BSW and salt content) in coordination with laboratory.
- Control separators 1st stage and 2nd stage (Petrofac separators), test wells for computing their daily production, GOR (gas oil ratio) and GLR (gas liquid ratio).
- Organize & supervise all the plant operating shift crew in the Process area, and to ensure safe and efficient operation of the Plant product.
- Monitor and control Chemicals inhibitor consumption.
- Follow permit to work system (hot & cold) and get all maintenance work done.
- Ensure the safe running of plants and plant facilities, and report all type of accidents / incident or any near miss incidents.
- Use Allen Bradley UCP control system for rotating machines (Nuevo pignone compressors).
- Control all the equipment and start up/ shut down oil export pumps.
- Make up the lube oil for the pumps.
- Take reading and filling log sheets.
- Walk down around the plant and control of process parameters.
- Gauge storage tank.
