• Challenge the production plan, specifically on availability, capacity and unit rates (i.e. overall capability of assets) and recommend a realistic monthly plan for approval to Commercial Optimization.
• Coordinate day-to-day communication with the LNG Plant and Producing Assets and is fully aware of any planned/unplanned maintenance and/or any other factors will impact commercial delivery.
• Creates the operational production schedule (for unit load with planned quality and quantity) that is rolled out on monthly, weekly and daily basis.
• Communicate the Production Schedules and any changes to Commercial Optimization and to key stakeholders.
• Monitor the execution of the operational production schedule and share any deviations on the schedule with the Commercial Optimizer.
• Monitor technical performance of the asset, proactively assess the capability during the month and communicate risks to stakeholders and evaluate best opportunities with event of unplanned shutdowns.
• Monitor and report LNG, LPG and Gasoline tanks inventory levels.
• Evaluate the resource plan and progress measurement system established, and participate in monthly evaluation exercise / variance analysis.
  Participate in the change management process and trends analysis.
• Highlight potential problems with recommendations for remedial action and ensure changes have been incorporated in the plan/schedule.
• Develop engineering progress measurement systems, and report progress and productivity.

• For the new LNG TRAIN Skikda Project with a Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) production capacity of 4,5 MTPA;
• Ensure compliance to Company Quality, Health, Safety and Environment (QHSE) policies
• Represent Plant Operations in Task Risk and other risk assessments and reviews
• Plan, schedule and conduct Operations Safety meetings, Desktop Emergency scenarios and Emergency Exercises
• Ensuring application of the operation, start-up and shutdown procedures
• Representation of the LNG Plant Management during night shift work (ie, outside normal day working hours) in dealing directly with shipping personnel, plant security and shift discipline support teams, to ensure proper coordination between the parties
• Undertaking full responsibility for the entire plant operations outside day normal working hours and being the sole Management representative on site responsible for operation, emergency actions, shift discipline, etc., until LNG Plant Management is back at work
• Log and communication of shift activities via shift logs, ensuring the accuracy of the supervisor's logs and preparation of separate written reports on plant trips, abnormal operations and accidents/dangerous occurrences in order to report all plant activities and to facilitate provision of important information to the concerned parties
• Manage and oversee operational behavioral systems such as Overrides and Inhibits, Isolations, Operational Risk Assessments, Locked Open and Closed valves
• Monitor operations and alarms, and analyze upsets and trips
• Report process excursions, upsets and trips with operating details
• Conduct first line troubleshooting in case of Plants upsets and trips
• Escalate issues to asset manager if necessary
• Operator in charge of LNG and LPG units; optimized process and operation parameters to ensure smooth plant operation and meet daily production and quality targets
• Held a position as a process scheduler and coordinated with other engineering teams and contractors to discuss and solve process or operational issues; worked with five plant wide departments to achieve health safety and environment goals for the LNG facility
• Extensive LNG plant start-up experience with an understanding of start-up of GE Frame-5 / Frame-7 gas turbines and gas treating units such as Acid Gas Removal and dehydration units
• Detailed knowledge of process and instrument Diagrams (P&ID), Process Flow Diagrams (PFD), datasheets, Distributed Control System (DCS);
• Created plant performance trend graphs/plots to understand plant performance deviations and trip causes; suggested improvements in handling and resolving process upset situations
• Assisted in loading and unloading of LNG and LPG cargoes to ensure the transfer of products to customers
