During this period, work included rotating equipment inspection (Visual, Runout check, Dimensional control, Control NDT), Vibration analysis, Monitoring system operation, Performance testing, troubleshooting, and Shop & Field Balancing.

As a Field Service Engineer employed at SONATRACH in HASSI R’MEL ALGERIA, my specialization centers on the maintenance of Centrifugal Compressors. The primary responsibilities encompass:

• Maintenance of various types of Centrifugal Compressors, including "Nuovo Pignone," "HITACHI," and "Thermodyn," as well as their associated auxiliary equipment such as Starter Turbines (Coppus, Worthington, GE, SNM) and Gearboxes (Acatel, Flender Graffenstaden, GE, SHIMADZU).
• Demonstrated expertise in mechanical seals, Dry Gas Seals, seal systems, and proficient execution of Shafts Alignment operations using both dial methods (Rim & Face, Reverse) and laser equipment.
• Active participation within a multidisciplinary maintenance support team to review and improve existing maintenance procedures, as well as identifying and implementing future recommendations.
• Provision of daily mechanical equipment support and guidance to maintenance teams, ensuring seamless operations.
• Strategic planning of preventative maintenance tasks and contributions to the 5-year integrated planning system.
• Thorough preparation of monthly and annual work reports to monitor achievements and progress.

During this period, the role involved mechanical maintenance engineering for various equipment types, including Centrifugal Pumps (Ebara), Screw Pumps (IMO), Reciprocating Pumps (NIKKISO), valves, Aerorefregirants, Heat Exchangers, and Air Compressors.
